Weekend to End Breast Cancer, 23-24 August, 2008

Athena Energy is proud to support the Québec Breast Cancer Foundation since 2006. After contributing and raising close to $1,000 at its annual customer meeting on June 19 th, Athena has also supported two determined walkers, Suzanne Savoie and Sylvie Charron who travelled 60 KM as part of the 'Week-end to End Breast Cancer'». This event benefits the Jewish General Hospital’s Segal Cancer Centre to help fund new developments in research, treatments and care for breast cancer patients.

Club des petits déjeuners du Québec

Normand Lavallée, Director of sales at Athena Energy, is a volunteer at the Breakfast Club Quebec, an organization that helps children. Since March 2007, with a smile, Normand prepares and serves breakfast, twice a week at the St Vincent Marie School in Montreal North. Two hundred breakfast meals are served each morning.

Défi têtes rasées de Leucan

Normand Lavallée participated in the Leucan “Shave your head challenge” on June 10th, 2007. He raised $2,665 in funds used to finance various services at Leucan.

Fondation du cancer du sein

Athena is involved with the Breast Cancer Foundation of Québec since 2006. At its Corporate event, held in May 2007, it raised more than $2,000 from customers and partners, in order to give support to people affected by breast cancer.
